Last week I took a quick mini break of 4 days to go to Portland and pick up a radio I've wanted since 1985. A Sony 2001D.
These were four weeks salary at the time for me, at over $1000. This example was for a 95 year old gentleman, and it had sat in a cupboard for 30 years. It works beautifully and has all the original books and accessories, but sadly not the original box.
