National Panasonic

A friend wanted a Panapet that was in a box of portable radios at the HRSA November 2022 Auction. He bid on the box, won, and I purchased the remainder of 15 odd transistor radios. This was among them.

It is a basic 6 transistor unit that was available in a range of colours. Over the years I've spotted many combinations with black blue, red and white backs, and the same colour fronts, or contrasting colours of front and back. They came with a leatherette case, and earphone pouch.

The radio makes a noise, but will need to be recapped and maybe some other components replaced.
