This radio was contemporary with the R100, was as long lived, and had a few varions with different model numbers.

At the time, it sat near the top of the lineup, and had most of the features of the R-100, such as:

• fine tuning control
  terminals for phono, earphone or ext. speaker, ext.
  antenna & earth inputs
  built-in storage space for accessories like an earphone
  and the loop antenna

 The only thing that was missing was the second speaker and the separate Bass and Treble controls.

My example has the mains option. It has been restored, and was the subject of a YouTube video.
