AWA Radiola

This one I picked up in Adelaide in May 2021.

Whilst it didn't work, it only took an hour to replace the capacitors and align. It now works very well in the kitchen of a friend.

The pale yellow (Primrose) doesn't photograph well, and has faded somewhat. Inside it is a deep rich colour. The sets were also available in combinations of French Blue, Coral Pink, and Satin Black. With mix and match or white face plates.

Unfortunately, the station dial has yellowed, but should retrobright.

Valve line-up is 6BE6 6AU6 6BV7 6X4.

I believe these are much better looking than the 5 Valve 586 that was branded as an AWA, Airzone, Email/Electrice, or a Westinghouse.
