This Radio-Gram was bought for very little money from eBay. I normally avoid eBay like the plague, but in this instance the temptation was too great.

I can't find any information on this model, and there is no identification on the set except for the Super Six logo on the front.

There were a number variations with different turntables, valve line-ups, and radios. This is the multi-band radio, with Deluxe turntable.
It has been restored visually, but most of the caps are original. Having said that, the radio played on the isolation transformer/Variac/dim bulb for over an hour with no hum.

The turntable itself needs plenty of work.

This was likely a rebadged model from England as it has many parts, including the turntable, labelled thus. The radio chassis is likely locally made. I have a later AWA Stereophic unit that has a cabinet identical to many Kriesler and British units, most notably the Danset,

An unrestored one these recently sold for over a $1000 in Queensland during 2021. I paid around a tenth. Yet, one sold for $40 in Adelaide, and we couldn't give one away at a HRSA meeting.
They weighs a considerable amount and plough through records, so who knows. The cabinet is very good, so I'll restore it one day.
This is a keeper.
