In January and February of 2023, the HRSA had the unfortunate task of clearing two estates of radio related gear.

The first was from Castlemaine where we cleared a garage on rather a warm day. We then took the things to our meeting the next day for sale. Good things will be sold at auction later in the year. I obtained seven AWA B15 chassis, and 4 1/2 cabinets. I managed to build 3 good (one excellent) radios. You can see the results on the B15 page and on my YouTube channel. There was plenty of useful junk being given away at the end, and I managed to get a reasonable green Astor Micky cabinet, and a JJ cabinet, both in pretty poor condition, as well as quite a few chassis.

The second sale was held on site. At this one there was little junk, but quite a few nice radios and reel to reel machines. I managed to grab a very nice Sony TR72. Surprisingly, it is completely original, and works very nicely thankyou very much. Furthermore, I picked up a number National Panasonic transistor radios, a very cool catalogue that features ABBA, a mint Sony CF400L that simply needed a switch cleaned, and an AWA C55163 receiver.
