We are well and truely past the stage of lockdowns in Melbourne, and life is returning to normal. We even have a HRSA meeting this coming Saturday.
Of course the COVID threat has not deminished, and as we approach winter Flu is a double wammy threat.
Meanwhile on the radio front, the YouTube channel now has 25 videos. The number of subscribers is still low, but getting there slowly. My "engagement" is gaining strength as well. I finally have Instagram playing for me as well, I think...
Sales were going well for a few weeks, but with petrol being $2.25 a litre, people are hesitating.
Since Christmas some nice radios have been purchased. A particularly nice National from 1961 in bright red is the stand out. The volume is very low, but it works. Also a pink Philips 224 from ther same era is coming along nicely. Also a Sony Reel to Reel / Cassette, TC330, combo that weighs over 25kg, and it a portable!
Finally, the Post seems to be returning to some form of normality, although a package I bought 14 months ago finally arived last week. Some things arrive in a few days, like Carls radio supplies, but other things take weeks going through many AusPost depots across the country.
Some time soon I'll be moving this site to electrosound.com.au. I'll retire 50lux.
See you on the flip side.
