Not much to report this week.
I have managed to fix a Philips 2262 from 1940 part one is on my YouTube channel.
Busy weekend, on Saturday went to dinner with friends in Melbourne. First time seeing them since August 2024.
Sunday was the HRSA BBQ. Slim pickings this year so didn't buy anything except some capacitors. I was about to leave and was offered a National Panasonic RQ-542S radio cassette for free. It's in parts only condition, although it works. A client will be very happy as I have just fixed her much better unit - RQ-544AS. The RQ-544 has a different cabinet, a bigger speaker and an Aux in, but otherwise is exactly the same. The 544 had a bad head, so I've swapped the head. Sounds much better. It now has a battery cover too! So a good find!
