This is an evolution of the 224 with cosmetic tweaks and a phono input.

This radio was purchased for $10 at a HRSA market day in August 2022.

It is in great condition and polished up beautifully, except for a heat dimple on the back of the case. The paint also pealed off in a couple of places when I washed the front grill. However, the paint is not an issue and will look much better black.

The colour of the cabinet is a pale biege/pink. I’m not sure which coloue that equates to out of the listed colours. Lilac, Green, White, Peach, Red. The MM01, from March 1965,  simply came in While, Green, or Red. Production ceased some time after following the introduction of the MM1 transistor model.
